I've done it again - indulged in the thing that would ultimately break my bank if I allowed it to. I shopped! Not like I window shopped, considered, tried it on even, was tempted and decided to walk away before I cave like I have over the past few months. This time I gave in to my hearts desires and a went a little crazy. It happens you know. I can only last for so long trying my hardest to save those pennies and then finally SNAP! I just have this overwhelming sense of I need to buy clothes. I need to look good. You know that feeling when try a million things on every day and nothing screams "you can confidently walk down the runway in that!" Then you know its time, even thought its ridiculous because there are hundreds of great items already waiting for you in the closet and then you'll have to force yourself to purge again after all those purchases because you run out of room! And as if that's not bad enough, my husband Rick already has faced enough of the many limitations I have enforced in his small crevice of the closet!
It all starts out so innocently... just the one shirt and then I'm good. Nope. First that one shirt and then I'm searching for a specific look in an outfit every day and that one shirt just doesn't cut it. So then you go on a rampage trying to find that look and with Fall now in session, man there are options. I was in the mood to hunt and I checked into Winners, which of course (when your in the mood) was successful. I came out with 3 shirts (pretty well priced) and flipping fantastic matches all purse (too expensive) and a most amazing to die for pair of shoes, so amazing in fact not only because they are so cute, but because they are the only heels I have managed to find in my whole life that convince you, you are in fact wearing slippers when you are not!
Add all that up and gulp! But it doesn't stop there. I'm headed to Urban Outfitters tomorrow to indulge a little more because I have heard there is a $10.00 item sale. Wow. I Love Urban Outfitters.
Luckly my beloved sister Jess is cleaning out her house in Kitz and managed to load me up with a bunch of super cute clothes that are no longer getting worn! It was awesome! Thanks Jess.
Thankfully this can only last so long and then I'll be back to saving those pennies for another indulgence 4 months from now!

my rule is: if you don't have anything that already matches it...you can't buy it. it will lead to too many more purchases.
I like it!
